U.S. Naval Sea Cadets: R. D. Stethem Battalion
PRT SCORES (LEVELS)
Sea Cadet and League Cadet physical readiness levels are identified by Level Number whereas a FAILING score is LEVEL 1 and a SATISFACTORY score is LEVEL 3.Â
A PROGRESSING score (LEVEL 2) acknowledges a level of fitness that is expected for new cadets and can be considered SATISFACTORY from your first 6-12 months in the program. However, you still need to improve in order to reach the formal SATISFACTORY (LEVEL 3) performance.
LEVEL - 1 FAILURE. Cadet's performance is well below Sea Cadet expectations.
Cadet would require significant intervention and additional time to improve.
LEVEL - 2 ENTRY LEVEL SATISFACTORY (first 6-12 months)
For non entry level, regardless of rank, cadets are automatically assigned to a remedial
fitness training program at this level.
Minimum requirement for advancement to NSCC Seaman Apprentice
Minimum level required to attend and pass NSCC Recruit Training
Does not qualify to attend an Advanced Training
LEVEL - 3 SATISFACTORY (all ranks). Minimum required score to obtain a PASSING SCORE .
Qualifies you to attend an Advanced Training
Required score to advance to the next Rank
LEVEL - 4 GREAT. Cadet qualifies for the Physical Fitness Ribbon to be worn on your Dress Uniform
LEVEL - 5 EXCELLENT. Cadet qualifies for the Physical Fitness Ribbon with the "Excellent E" appurtenance to
be worn on your Dress Uniform
YOU MUST RECEIVE A PASSING SCORE (LEVEL 3) IN EACH OF THE THREE (3) PRT EVENTS IN ORDER TO PASS YOUR PRT
