U.S. Naval Sea Cadets: R. D. Stethem Battalion
Our instructors are all adult volunteers who use their experience as Active Duty Military, Military Reserves/National Guard, Veteran, or Retired Military to train our Sea Cadets in Seamanship, Military Bearing, History, and Customs, and some of the best leadership skills our country has to offer!
One of the best and most rewarding parts of being a Sea Cadet Instructor is the opportunities you'll have to mentor our cadets and pass down your skills and leadership abilities that you have worked so hard to hone and perfect. We mentor our cadets to be LEADERS OF CHARACTER no matter if they chose a military career or go the civilian path.
Sea Cadet Instructors commit their personal time to manage all aspects of unit operations. We network with various commands and organizations to secure amazing experiences for our cadets that no other program can offer. We plan training that aligns with Sea Cadet national requirements. We reach our to our communities to offer unit support through community service and support for various military ceremonies.
We commit to ensuring the success of our Sea Cadets!
